                                                                                                System Maintenance I

Southwest Regional Water District, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is accepting applications for a full- time System Maintenance I position until filled. Applicants must possess a high school diploma and a valid Class A commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment. This is a bargaining-unit position affiliated with IUOE (International Union of Operating Engineers). The pay range for the position is $21.00 - $29.07/hour, dependent on licensure, qualifications, and experience, plus a benefits package which includes participation in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.

Troubleshooter 2

Southwest Regional Water District, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is accepting applications for a full-time Troubleshooter 2 until the position is filled.  Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a Class II Water Distribution License from the Ohio EPA, and a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.  This is a bargaining-unit, non-exempt position. The pay range is $23.85 - $33.02/hour, dependent on licensure, qualifications, and experience, plus a benefits package which includes participation in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).

Application Process
Applications are only accepted when a job opening is available and advertised in the local newspapers. Resumes are accepted at all times and are kept on file for a six month period.

Seasonal Employment Opportunities
Interns or temporary seasonal employees are sometimes employed during summer months to perform project specific tasks and evoke interest in a career in public service. Should the District determine the need for such employment, notice will be listed on this website.
